Rock Eisteddfod 2007 Brunswick Secondary wins!

Last night was the grand final of the premier division and the stellaric rise of Brunswick Secondary College continued.
First they won the small school division then the open division and one year later the premier division.
The imagery was brilliant and stark, the stilt walkers magnificent. It was different to anything else on offer.
Well done to Katherine and Co for the fantastic vision. We look forward to next years offering with much anticipation.
My throat hurts from all the cheering.

Books read this month - September

The Curse of the Pharaohs/ Elizabeth Peters
This was another great Amelia Peabody mystery set in Egypt.

Romulus, my father/ Raimond Gaita
I read this for book group and it was a good read. We had a good discussion about migrants and their experiences.

2nd Degree/ James Patterson
I love the short, short chapters and the fast pace of his stories.

Love in Luxor/ Gill Harvey
Still on the Egyptian theme, feeding my thirst for memories of the magnificent places I went to so recently.

Sink reflections/ Marla Cilley
Still trying to fly!
